     Old-Fashioned Baked Beans

Ingredients
1 Lb. White Pea Beans
2 Tsp. Prepared Mustard
1/8 Cup Sugar
2-3 Medium Onions Diced Or Whole
1/3 Cup Molasses
3/4 Tsp. Salt
Pinch of Black Pepper
1/2 Cup Ketchup
2 Tbsp. Vinegar
 
5 Lb. Bacon Or Salt Pork

Instructions
Soak beans overnight in cold water, saving the water to simmer next morning. In morning bring beans to a boil, let simmer for 1/2 hour. In Bean Crock put in the ingredients.
Add simmered beans and water, mix together. Place bacon or pork salt on top. Add more water if needed to cover.
Bake at 250 degree fahrenheit for 7 hours. After 4 hours. Take out 1 cup and mash. Stir back in carefully.
Add Liquid several times to keep beans just covered.
