Mix sugar, oil and pumpkin; add eggs, one at a time,
beating after each addition. Sift dry ingredients
and add to pumpkin mixture.
Add water and mix well. Stir in nuts. Pour into 4 (
1 Pound. ) Coffee cans to about 1/2 full. ( Loaf
pans will do. ) Bake at 300 degree fahrenheit for 1
1/2 hours. Test for doneness after first hour. Allow
to cool before removing from pans.
