Crock Pot French Dip

Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
-
Rump Beef Roast (a trimmed chuck roast will work, but rump roast is better, purchase on sale)
-
2-3 pkgs of Dry Italian Dressing
-
3 cans Beef Bouillon (or 4-5 bouillon cubes w/at least 3 C. Water)
-
French Hard Rolls
-
Swiss Cheese slices

Instructions
Place the roast in the crockpot, sprinkle in the dry Italian dressing along with the canned bouillon or bouillon cubes. Make certain that the roast is covered in liquid, if not add more water.
Cook on low for 12 hours or a combination of high/low until the meat falls apart. Take the meat out and pull apart on a cutting board (return to crock pot to keep warm).
Meanwhile, cut the French Rolls in half (use the pkg of hard rolls f/the grocery store). Place the Swiss cheese on top and broil until the cheese melts (be careful not to burn rolls).
Immediately place meat on rolls and serve with the liquid from the crock- pot in small bowls (one bowl per person)to dip in their sandwich in the "au jus".
