     Orange Nut Bread

2 1/4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup chopped nuts
2 tblsp grated orange peel
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tblsp vegetable oil

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8x4 in loaf pan. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda in large bowl. Stir in nuts and orange peel. In small bowl, beat the egg then add and beat the milk, orange juice and vegetable oil. Stir into the dry ingredients only until moist. Pour into the greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Insert a knife blade to separate sides from pan. Remove from pan after 10 minutes and put on wire rack to finish cooling.
