Mix sugars, syrup, 1 c. milk. Bring to a good boil. Add remaining
milk and butter stirring constantly. Bring to soft ball stage.
Remove from heat. Add 1 tsp. vanilla and pecans. Pour into
buttered pan and let set. Place chocolate mixture on top.
Cut in small pieces. (I usually half this recipe)
