Cut in flour and shortening until about pea size crumbs. Dissolve salt in water and add to flour and shortening. Stir with a fork till dough forms a ball, then roll out on well floured surface. For single pie crust, roll to largest circle on Tupperware pastry sheet. Place in 9 inch Pyrex plate; prick with fork. Bake 8-10 minutes at 475 degrees.
Fold under edge crust and hook fluted edge over plate edge to prevent shrinking and help keeps shape.
