Make angel food cake according to directions on
package. For added flavor, add 1 tsp almond extract
flavoring to batter.
Bake according to directions and allow to cool
completely.

Remove the cake from pan and slice two times
horizontally, making 3 layers total.
Mix together the pudding and milk until thick and
creamy.
Fold in 1 cup of cool whip.

|
Spread 1/3 of this on the first layer.
Add the second layer and repeat with another third
of the pudding mixture.

|
Place the third layer.
Add the rest of the Cool Whip to the remaining
pudding mixture and use this to generously frost the
entire cake.

This tastes best when chilled, so place in fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
