In medium mixing bowl, combine strawberries, balsamic, sugar and basil and toss to evenly coat. Set aside.
In small bowl, combine room temperature marscapone cheese and lemon curd. Mix well to combine.
In 8 small dessert cups, layer in 1T marscapone/lemon mixture and 1/2 c berry mixture. Top with 2 tsp. cheese/lemon mixture. Garnish with additional basil if desired.
