Bring the cauliflower florets to boil in a
medium saucepan until soft. Set aside.
In a frying pan, fry the onion, garlic & ginger
for a couple of minutes, add the cumin seeds,
Paprika, turmeric, asafoetida or Curry Powder.
Place the chickpeas and cauliflower in a food
processor add the lemon juice, salt & pepper, the
onion & spice mix & blend.
Stir in the flour to bring the mixture together
to form a dough, add more flour if needed.
Divide it into approx 6 pieces and shape each
piece into small burgers. If the burgers aren’t
sticking together very well, sprinkle in a
teaspoon more flour.
Bake in the oven for approx 30mins (15mins on
each side) or until they are golden.
