Preheat oven according to the type of chicken you are cooking. (Breasts 400 for 20-30 mins, whole chicken 375 for an hour, etc.)
Stir oil and all of the dry spices together to form a paste. Rub over chicken and under the skin (if you have skin.)
Roast chicken in oven until cooked through. Squeeze lemon over chicken and let sit for 10 mins.
I served this with a dipping sauce made of greek yogurt mixed with garam masala and cardamon. Just add spices to a 1/3 cup of yogurt until you get the flavor you want.
