1 shallot finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh herbs or ½ tsp dried herbs/spices

¼ cup dried breadcrumbs (21g carb) or ½ cup fresh breadcrumbs (use 1 slice bread = 15g carb)

1 egg beaten

2 - 4 tablespoons sauce (Thai, sate, curry, tomato, BBQ) or more (check carb content on jars)
|
|
1 sheet puff pastry (56g carb)
|
|
Total carbs = with dried breadcrumbs = 77g carb then add on sauce, divide by 4 for carbs per sausage
|

Instructions |

|
Preheat oven to 220’C Baking paper on tray
Place meat, egg, herbs, sauce and crumbs into
metal mixing bowl
|
|
|
Mix well with fork/hand
Divide into 4 portions
|
|
|
Place onto cut pastry shape
Brush edge with milk – seal/shape
|
|
|
Place onto tray, cut slits into pastry.
Brush with milk, sprinkle with sesame
seeds(optional)
Bake for 20-25 mins.
