     Beef Stew

Ingredients
1 to 1 1/2 pounds of stew meat
1 small onion diced
6-8 stalks of celery diced
6-8 medium potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
6-8 medium carrots peeled and cut into chunks
2 -3 tbl of flour
1/2 tsp garlic powder
6 bullion cubes prepared
salt and pepper
 

Instructions
Cut stew meat into bite size chunks, toss in a zip lock bag with flour until coated. Brown meat in oil. Prepare bullion cubes in the microwave according to directions. Add to a large pot with onion and celery and simmer until meat is cooked. (about an hour)
Add remaining vegetables and seasoning. Simmer until all are tender.(Note- Sometimes I add more bullion if the vegetable are not covered in liquid in the pot) Salt and pepper to taste, if you like the stew thicker you may use corn starch and water to thicken.
