     Ham and Potato Scallop casserole

Ingredients
4 c sliced, peeled, cooked potatoes
2 c cubed cooked ham
1 can (1 lb) small boiled onions, drained
2 c milk
3 tbl flour
2 tbl butter or margarine
1/2 tsp salt
`1/8 tsp pepper
 

Instructions
Make two layers each of the potato slices, ham and onions in a shallow baking dish. Combine milk, flour, butter, salt, pepper in a small saucepan; cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and boils for 1 minute. Pour over layers. Bake ina moderate oven (350)40 minutes or until bubbly hot. Sprinkle with finely cut chives.
