     Seafood Boil

Ingredients
1/2 Cup Old Bay Seasoning
2 tsp salt
5 quarts water
2 can beer--ale
8 medium red potatoes cut in quarters
2 large onions cut into wedges
8 frozen corn on the cob (small size)
3 pounds shrimp (deveined and shelled)
3 pounds smoked sausage cut in 2 inch pieces
 
2 lemons wedged
1 head garlic-tops cut off
3 pounds whole crab broke into pieces
4 bay leaves
3 pounds crab legs if desired

Instructions
In an 8-quart stock pot or outdoor cooker, bring Old Bay, salt,garlic, lemons, bay leaves, water and beer to a boil. Add potatoes and onions; cook over high heat for 8 minutes. Add smoked sausage; continue to cook on high for 5 minutes. Add corn to pot; continue to boil for 7 minutes. Add crabs and crab legs for 4 minutes Add shrimp in shells, cook for 4 minutes.(no longer or shrimp will be overcooked) Drain cooking liquid; pour contents of pot into several large bowl or shallow pails. Or serve on a picnic table covered in newspaper--simply dump onto table. Sprinkle with additional Old Bay.
Serve with Butter and Old Bay Seasoning and lots of napkins.
