-Sift 1-1/2 cups flour, 3/4 teaspoon soda, 1/2 teaspoon
salt.

-Blend 1/2 cup Crisco and 3/4 cup sugar and cream well.
Add 1 egg and 1/4 cup Brer Rabbit molasses (Gold label)
and beat well.

|
-Blend in dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Add 1/2 cup
coconut (Angel Flake), 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Drop by
teaspoons 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet.

|
-Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool slightly
before removing cookies from pan.
