     Christmas sausage casserole

Ingredients
8 slices regular white bread
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
6 eggs
3 cups milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp dry mustard
1 package of smokies
1 can undiluted cream of mushroom soup
 
1/2 cup milk

Instructions
Trim crusts and crumble bread. Mix bread and cheese and spread in 9x13 greased baking dish. Beat eggs and milk together and stir in salt, pepper, mustard and pour over bread and cheese. Lay sausages on top and refrigerate overnight. Just before baking mix soup and milk and spread over casserole. Bake uncovered for 50 minutes to an hour at 350 degrees.
