8oz cooked noodles of your choice (egg, chow mein, udon, soba, etc.)
2 scallions
1/2 Tb Sriracha
2Tb hoisin sauce
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Mince or grate the garlic. Slice the
scallions, separating the green and white
parts. Trim and julienne or cut the green beans
french style. Halve, peel, and thinly slice the
onions. Cut the chicken into bite size pieces.
In a medium bowl, combine the garlic, 1.5Tb
soy sauce and 1/2Tb EVOO. Toss in the chicken
and set aside to marinade.
In a small bowl, combing remaining soy sauce,
1Tb of hoisin sauce and Sriracha. Set aside.
Heat 1/2Tb EVOO in large pan over medium high
heat. Add the onions, cooking for about 3 min.
Then add the green beans until both onions and
green beans have slightly softened. Add
another 1Tb of EVOO. Add the noodles, white
scallions. Add 1/4c of water if using dry
noodles. Stir to combine and warm through. Toss
with soy sauce-hoisin mixture.
Remove chicken from marinade. Place on lightly
oiled baking sheet and bake for about 6 minutes.
Remove chicken from oven, glaze it with 1Tb of
hoisin sauce. Then return to oven to caramelize
for another 2-4 minutes. Sprinkle on sesame seeds.
Plate noodles, serve with chicken and sprinkle on remaining
green scallions.
