For the crust- mix together press into ungreased baking pan 9X9X2. Bake @ 350 for 10 min
For the filling- mix together the egg yolks , 1 C sugar 2 T flour salt & half&half. Stir in the rhubarb. Pour over baked layer. Bake for 45 min.
Beat egg whites until foamy. Bet in 1/3 C sugar, 1 T at a time. Continue to beat until glossy. DO NOT UNDER BEAT. Beat in vanilla. Spread over rhubarb mixture, sprinkle with coconut. Bake until like brown , about 10 minutes.
