     Savoury Scrolls

Ingredients
2 C self-raising flour
pinch salt
90g marg, cut into cubes
2/3 C milk
plain flour to dust
tomato relish
bacon
grated cheese
1 tsp mixed herbs
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 210C. Sift flour and salt into bowl. Use fingertips to rub marg in until resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add the milk. Use a knife in cutting motion to mix until evenly incorporated and the mixture begins to hold together.
Turn dough onto lightly floured surface and gently knead until smooth. Roll out into 30 x 40cm rectangle.
Spread relish over the dough. Sprinkle with bacon and cheese. Starting from long side, roll up firmly to form a log. Cut crossways into 12 equal portions, about 2cm thick. Place scrolls on oven tray. Bake approx 20 mins or until golden brown. Remove from oven and set aside to cool
