Ingredients |

6-8 cups homemade chicken broth, or 2 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth, plus 1/2 soup can water
|

1 large onion, chopped
|
|
3 celery stalks, chopped including leaves, if you like
|
|
6 large white potaotes, peeled, chopped, cubed or sliced
|
|
Salt and pepper to taste
|
|
Shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese
|
|
2-3 cups chopped clams
|
|
10 or 16 ounce package frozen corn
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Place all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on high 5 hours, or on low 6 hours, or until vegetables are soft but not mushy.
