     Pumpkin Praline Bread Pudding

1 (1 lb. ) loaf day old bread, challah,french sm pieces
1 C heavy cream
1 C half and half
1 15 oz can pumpkin puree
1 1/2 C granulated sugar
3 tbl melted butter
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 tbl pumpkin pie spice ( ingredients below)
1 C unsalted butter
1 C heavy cream
1 C brown sugar
1/2 C chopped toasted pecans or make praline pecans
2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground allspice

Grease casserole dish. Break up bread and place in dish. Mix creams, pumpkin,sugar,butter,eggs,vanila and pumpkin pie spice and 1/2 tsp salt. Pour over bread making sure all is covered. Bake at 375, 50 minutes or until set
Meanwhile melt unsalted butter ,heavy cream and brown sugar. Bring to boil. lower and simmer 5 minutes. Pour some over bread pudding. top with pecans and serve some sauce on side.
