rinse split peas in collander.
in large pot add about 4 quarts of water and
ham bone bring to full boil and boil about 15
mins..add onion and celery and boil until
tender.. then add peas... its will take a about
40 mins to start melting down.. stir frequently
after peas start to melt and thicken a little
add the boullion cubes and poultry seasoning.
continue to boil on low until peas have
dissolved ..if to thick dont be afraid to add 2
cups of water at a time to thin to your liking.
