     Eleanor Driscoll's English Toffee

Ingredients
1/2 pound margarine
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons water
1/2 pound milk chocolate chips
 

Instructions
place butter, sugar, and water in pan and cook over medium heat until it turns light brown in color. ( The color of a paper sack). Pour into a buttered 9 X 13 dish. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on. As they start to melt, spread them out. Tops with nuts.
