     24-Hour Vegetable Salad

Ingredients
4 cups torn spinache or romaine
1 cup frozen peas
3 or 4 hard boiled eggs
6 slices of bacon fried crisp, drained and crumbled
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 green onions, sliced
3/4 cups mayonaise
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp dill
 
2 T sugar (optional)

Instructions
Place lettuce or spinach in the bottom of a bowl about 8 inches in diameter. Layer peas, then arrange egg slices. For dressing mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill and sugar if desired (I like it a bit sweet). Spread dressing over the egg layer. Then top with grated cheese, bacon and green onions.
