6 LARGE EGGS
3/4 LB BUTTER
1 BOX CONFECTIONER'S SUGAR
1 BOX PLAIN FLOUR (MEASURED IN SUGAR BOX AFTER SIFTING)
1 TAB FLAVORING-ANY KIND
1/3 C WATER
 

Instructions
GREASE AND FLOUR LOAF OR BUNDT PAN. CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR, ADD EGGS ONE BY ONE, BEAT THOROUGHLY BETWEEN THE ADDITION OF EACH EGG. ADD FLOUR AND CONTINUE TO BEAT UNTIL ALL INGREDIENTS ARE WELL MIXED. ADD FLAVORING AND WATER, BEAT UNTIL THE BATTER SEEMS LIGHTER. SPREAD BATTER EVENLY IN PAN. PUT INTO A COLD OVEN. BAKE AT 325 FOR 1 HOUR & 40 MIN, COOL IN PAN 10 MIN. THEN TURN OUT TO COOL.
