Toast almonds. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Sift dry
ingredients and mix slightly. Add Rice Krispies and almonds and
mix. The dough will tend to be dry and crumbly. You may have to
finish mixing the dough with your hands. Form into balls and
bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 15-20 min until golden. Cool
