     Low Fat Avocado Pasta Salad

8oz rotini or bow tie pasta salad
5 slices of bacon, cooked, crisp and crumbled
1 green onion, sliced
2tb cilantro, chopped
1c tomatoes, diced
1 avocado, diced
1ts lime juice
1/2 of a fresh lime, juiced
1/4c cilantro, roughly chopped
1/2ts cumin, ground
1/2ts garlic powder
1/2c buttermilk
1 avocado, ripe
Salt and pepper to taste

Place all dressing ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Set aside.
Cook pasta in boiling salted water. Drain, place in ice bath and drain again. Toss diced avocado w/lime juice. Combine all other salad ingredients in large bowl. Gently toss with dressing.
Refrigerate 1 hour before serving. Make sure to wrap in plastic, leaving no air between plastic and pasta so dressing will not brown.
