Put flour in large bowl. Add salt.

Add shortening and cut into flour mixture with a
pastry cutter until the size of peas.
|
|
|
Add cold water a little at a time while tossing
with a fork until dough starts to stick together
and pull away from the bowl.

|
|
Using your hands, press together until it forms a
ball. Roll out on a floured board or pastry
sheet.

This makes a crust for a one crust pie. Double for a two crust pie.
