Ingredients
FRENCH BREAD - sliced 3/4 inch thick
4 large EGGS
2 Tbl. HEAVY CREAM
1 Tbl. real BUTTER
1 teas. BROWN SUGAR
1/8 teas. real VANILLA EXTRACT
sprinkle of CINNAMON
sprinkle of NUTMEG
pinch of SALT
 
real 100 percent MAPLE SYRUP

Instructions
Whisk eggs, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
Float bread in egg mixture, 30 seconds per side.
Melt butter in non-stick skillet. Then, on med-low heat fry bread pieces until at least 50 percent browned on each side
Top each piece with one teaspoon of real maple syrup (do not overdo the syrup).
Serving Suggestions
Serve with savory breakfast sausage patties or links
