Boil four medium potatoes (peeled and cut-up). When almost done, add dumplings and cook 10 more minutes. Season and drain. In small skillet, brown 3 tablespoons butter and pour over potatoes and dumplings. Add cream and serve. Dumplings- Beat one egg with fork. Add pinch of salt and enough flour and small amount of water to make right consistency. Delicious! Makes 6 servings
