1cup butter,unsalted - cold,diced into 1TBSP pieces
2/3 cup sugar, granulated
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 cup raspberry jam, seedless preferred
GLAZE
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp almond extract
2-4 tsp water
Instructions
350 14-18 mns Whisk flour and salt
Blend butter and sugar. Mix in almond extract, then add in flour blend. It takes a while bc cold butter. Be patient. Mixture is dry.
Shape into 1-in balls (1TBSP ea). Ungreased sheet two in apart, make indentation with thumb or forefinger lg enough for 1/4-1/2 tsp of jam.
Cill dough 10 mns freezer, or 20 mns refrigerator
Whisk all glaze ingredients in a glass mixing bowl. Scoop into a sandwich bag, cut tip from one corner and drizzle over cookies
