     Russian Tea Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons water
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
 
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar. Add water and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour and nuts. Chill 3 or 4 hours. Shape into little balls.
Bake at 325 degrees on an ungreased cookie sheet for 20 minutes. Cool slightly, sprinkle with confectionary sugar.
