preheat the oven 325', put foil lined rack in a roasting pan. clean turkey, get rid of giblets and neck. stuff the insides with onion lemon and thyme, then tie the legs together with kitchen twine. season the outside of the turkey with salt
put the turkey on the roasting rack breast down, and place in oven. legs of the turkey should be facing the back of the oven. leave in for two (2) hours. then take out, pull the foil including the turkey up to flip it. when you put the turkey back in the oven its breast side should be up. let roast one (1) hour.
when the turkey reaches 150', turn the oven up to 375'. every ten (10) mintues or until the turkey reaches 160-165' brush with glaze. when at 160-165' take out of the oven. wait 30 minutes before carving
