1 tbsp olive oil
|

1 lb ground chicken
|

2 cloves garlic, minced
|
|
1 onion, diced
|

1/4 cup hoisin sauce
|
|
2 tbsp soy sauce
|
|
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
|
|
1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
|
|
1 tbsp sriracha, optional
|
|
|

1 8 oz can diced water chestnuts, drained
|
|
2 green onions, thinly sliced
|
|
1 head butter lettuce
|
|
salt and pepper to taste
|

Instructions |
|
|
Heat oil in pan, add chicken and cook until
browned. Make sure to crumble chicken as it cooks
and drain excess fat.

Stir in garlic, onion, hoisin and soy sauces, rice
wine vinegar, ginger and Sriacha until onions have
become translucent.
|
|
|
Stir in chestnuts and green onions until tender,
then season with salt and pepper to taste.
|
|
|
To serve, spoon several tablespoons of mixture
into lettuce leaves.
