     Do-Ahead Stuffing

1 c butter
2 c chopped onion
2 c chopped celery
16 c dry bread crumbs
1 Tbsp salt
2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp sage
2c. chicken broth

Melt the butter in a large deep skillet over medium heat. Add celery and onions; cook and stir until tender, about 10 minutes. Blend in the bread crumbs, salt, poultry seasoning, pepper, thyme, and sage. Stir in enough chicken broth to moisten. Spoon into large resealable bag and refrigerate up to three hours.
To bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place stuffing into greased casserole dishes. Bake for 45 minutes.
