     Ginger Snap (From Cookie Press)

3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup molasses
1 egg
3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp salt

Cream butter and sugar well. Add molasses and egg and mix well.
Gradually blend in dry ingredients which have been sifted together.
Fill cookie press. Form cookies on ungreased cookie sheets, holding press in semi-horizontal position. Sprinkle them with sugar. Bake.
Remove at once to cooling racks.
