2 lbs. lean eye of round roast, cut into bite size pieces
2 cans cream of mushroom soup or 1 Family size
Can of Mushrooms (optional)
1 envelope of dry onion soup mix
1/2 cup red wine (use less if you don't like a strong taste)
1/4 cup water
Pepper to taste
Instructions
Put meat in a 2 1/2 qt. casserole dish, or crockpot
add soup and mushrooms and pepper pour over meat. Add wine and
water. Cover and Bake at 325 for 3 hours or longer, the longer the
more tender the meat will be.
Great over white rice or egg noodles.
Also, great frozen.
