Ingredients
1 cup margarine or butter
3 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tea. vanilla
1/2 tea. baking soda
1/2 tea. cream of Tatar
4 TAB. sugar
2 tea. ground cinnamon
 

Instructions
Heat oven to 375. In a mixing bowl, beat margarine of butter with an electric mixer on med. or high for 30 seconds. Add half of the flour, the sugar, egg, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Beat until thoroughly combined. Beat in remaining flour. Cover and chill 1 hour. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Combine the sugar and cinnamon. Roll balls into mixture. Place 2 inches apart on a uncreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 10-11 mins. or until edges are gold. Cool on wire rack.
