In tepid water add 1 t sugar and yeast. Let rise 10 minutes.
In large bowl put 1/2 c sugar, lard, salt, vinegar, water. Add
yeast mixture. Mix in 8 c flour adding more as needed while
kneading. Cover and let rise 2 hours. Punch down and let rise 1 hour
Shape into 3 doz buns on pans and rise to good size. Bake at 400
until brown.
