     Nana’s large sugar cookies

Ingredients
1 c shortening
1 c sugar
2 eggs
2 t vanilla
21/2 c bread flour
1 t baking soda
2 t cream of tartar
1 t salt
 
Instructions
Blend shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients. Cut 3 “ rounds, dip in sugar. Bake 375 for 8 to 10 minutes.
