Cream together butter, peanut butter, and sugars.
Add egg and vanilla and beat well y
Add 1 cup flour, soda, and salt; beat well
Add rest of flour; beat well
Round into small (1-1 1/2 inch) balls and roll in
white sugar.
Bake for 7 minutes at 375 degrees, remove and
place chocolate star in center. Bake an additional
2 minutes.
Double recipe is approximately 12 ounce bag of
stars
