     Nissua Bread

Ingredients
2 TBSP Yeast
1/4/ cup warm water
2 cups warm mlk
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter softened
1 1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp cardamom
2 eggs
7 - 8 cups flour
 

Instructions
1 In a bowl, dissolve yeast in water, add milk, sugar, butter, salt, cardamom, eggs and 3 cups flour. Stir adding flour to make soft dough, turn out on floured surface and knead 6 - 8 minutes. Roll in oiled bowl and cover. Allow to double in size (about 1 hour)
2. Punch down dough and transfer to lightly floured surface. Divide in 1/2 and each 1/2 into 3 pieces. Roll each piece into 13 inch rope. Braid ropes on a prepared baking sheet. Cover and allow to rise about 45 minutes.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
