Preheat oven to 350. If using aluminum cookie
sheets, lightly grease or use parchment paper.
Mix butter and sugars until creamy. Add oil, eggs
and vanilla then mix well.
In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients together,
gradually add this to the wet mixture, mixing only
to combine.
Using a scoop, drop dough onto prepared cookie
sheet. Sprinkle with colored or white sugar and
bake 8-10 minutes. Only bottom edges should be
lightly browned.
After baking, let cookies rest on sheet for a
minute before moving to wire rack to cool. Store
in air tight container. These also freeze well.

After placing on cookie sheet, these can be flattened by pressing slightly with the bottom of a sugared cup.
