In Caldero over medium high heat oil and add
sofrito. Cook until most water is out of sofrito.
Add Sazon and beans, stir well. Cook 2 minutes.
Add rice, stir well and cook 2 minutes. Add broth
or water and salt, stir well.
Bring to boil then start 6 minute timer. Stir
every 2 minutes or so, scraping bottom. End of
timer put heat to low, cover with foil, then lid.
Cook 20 minutes. Stir well. Return foil down into
pan right over rice, then lid and cook 10 minutes
more. Stir well, taste, turn off heat if
completely cooked.
