Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix the eggs, undrained
crushed pineapple, flour, 1 c. sugar, baking soda,
salt and 1 t. vanilla together. Spray Stir until
combined. Spray 9x13 pan. Pour batter into pan.

While cake is baking (near the end of baking) make
topping. Combine butter, evaporated milk, 1/2 c.
sugar and 1 t. vanilla. Cook over medium low heat ,
stirring occasionally until sugar is dissolved.
Mixture/sauce will be thin. Remove cake from over and
pour topping over hot cake.
