     Swedish Meatballs

2 pounds ground beef
2 beaten effs
1 finely chopped and sauteed onion
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup mashed potato
3 level teaspoonsful salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoonful fresh ground Allspice

Mix all ingredients thoroughly; if too thick, add enough cold water to soften to consistency to roll meatballs easily. Brown in butter in hot skillet. Transfer meatballs to baking dish.
To fat drippings in skillet, add 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup of boiling water and a shake of flour. Stir until well-blended. Pour gravy over meatballs in baking dish and bake in slow oven (300 degrees?) for 1 hour.
Serve with hot noodles
