     Easy Beef Chili

Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
1 TBSP oil
1 large or 1 1/2 medium size onions, finely diced
1 c. diced green pepper
1 (14.5 oz) can beef broth or can of beer
1 can pinto beans, drained (or beans of your choice, also OK to add 2 cans)
2 cloves of garlic, minced (or 1/2 tsp granulated garlic)
2.5 lbs ground beef (85-15 fat)
1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes, with juice
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, with juice

3 TBSP chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp oregano
1 tsp sugar
Salt or beef concentrate

Instructions
Sautee onion and green pepper in oil, until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and stir a minute or so. Add ground beef and cook until cooked through. Add all the seasoning (leaving salt and pepper until very end when adjusting seasoning to taste). Add the tomatoes, beef broth, and beans. Bring mixture to a boil, then partly cover with a lid and simmer 3-4 hours on low heat. If it gets too thick, add a little water.
