     French Toast - Stuffed

1 loaf of bread, cubed - we used brioche
1, 8 oz package cream cheese cubed
8 eggs
1/3 Cup honey, or real maple syrup
1-1/3 Cup milk
Powdered sugar, optional

Mix eggs, syrup and milk, then set aside. In a 9 X 13 greased baking dish , evenly layer half the bread cubes, then cream cheese, then top with the rest of the bread.
Pour egg mixture over the bread, cover, and refrigerate overnight. Bake a 350 deg. for 35 to 40 minutes.
Serve with syrup and powdered sugar.
We made this for Mother's Day and everyone loved it.
