Fry bacon until crispy in a pot over medium high
heat. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate. In the
same pot, cook the sausage until browned, about 7-8
minutes. Transfer to plate with bacon.
Add onion, celery, and bell pepper to your pot and
saute until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the
garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
Add the bacon, sausage, chicken broth, tomato sauce,
lentils, oregano, and crushed red pepper to your
pot. Cover and cook until lentils are tender, about
20-25 minutes. Stirring intermittently. Season with
salt and pepper to taste and serve.

All the ingredients were added to a crock pot and
cooked on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
