     Fruit Crisp, Gluten Free

Ingredients
5 cups Fresh Fruit - such as:
-- blueberries, apples, peaches, plums
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1 Tbsp Cornstarch
1 cup Chopped Walnuts
1/4 cup Sorghum Flour
1/4 cup Millet Flour
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
 
1/4 tsp Ginger
1/4 tsp Salt
6 Tbsp Butter

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400. Take butter out of fridge to slightly soften. Cut fruit into bite-sized pieces and mix it with granulated sugar and cornstarch. Put fruit mixture into a baking dish. Glass bread pan is ideal; or 8-in. square or round casserole.
Mix walnuts, flour, brown sugar, and spices together. Mix in butter with a fork or with your fingers. Arrange mixture evenly over top of fruit. Bake 30 min., until top is browned and fruit is bubbling.
SKIN TIP: Peaches and apples can be used with their skin on or off. Peel apples with a carrot peeler. To peel a peach, boil water in a large pot and, once water is boiling, submerge the peach for 1 min. Remove from water and skin will slide off.
Easier than pie! Fresh warm fruit nestles below a crumbly, caramel-ly crust.
